California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday requested a federal decide to rapidly block the Trump administration’s deployment of Nationwide Guard members and Marines to Los Angeles to quell protests in opposition to immigration raids.
State Lawyer Normal Rob Bonta requested the decide to grant a brief restraining order blocking President Donald Trump’s actions by 1 p.m. PT with a purpose to “stop instant and irreparable hurt to Plaintiffs.”
