The Union Cupboard, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has authorized Part-2 of the Pune Metro Rail Venture at an estimated value of Rs 3,626.24 crore. The mission goals to reinforce East-West connectivity in Pune by extending the present Vanaz-Ramwadi Metro hall by way of two elevated corridors: Vanaz to Chandani Chowk (Hall 2A) and Ramwadi to Wagholi/Vitthalwadi (Hall 2B).
Collectively, these new extensions will span 12.75 km and add 13 new stations to town’s metro community.
