Wall Road fell on Wednesday, with the Nasdaq main declines after Nvidia flagged steep costs from new U.S. controls on chip exports to China, the newest flashpoint in an escalating world commerce battle.
Shares of Nvidia dropped 6.5%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Common fell 189.5 factors, or 0.47%, on the open to 40,179.49. The S&P 500 fell 60.9 factors, or 1.13%, on the open to five,335.75, whereas the Nasdaq Composite dropped 323.5 factors, or 1.92%, to 16,499.693 on the opening bell.
