Hours after Air Canada and the union representing 10,000 putting flight attendants resumed preliminary discussions on Monday night time, the Canadian Union of Public Staff (CUPE) mentioned it has reached a tentative settlement to finish a strike, reported AP on Tuesday.
The report added that Air Canada will regularly resume service from Tuesday after reaching an ‘settlement’ with flight attendants to finish the strike.
Taking to Fb, the CUPE’s Air Canada department mentioned, as quoted by AFP, “The Strike has ended. We’ve a tentative settlement we are going to deliver ahead to you. We’re required to advise our membership that we should totally cooperate with resumption of operations.”
The CUPE in its assertion additionally said that the brand new settlement will assure members’ pay for work carried out whereas planes are on the bottom.
