Air India Categorical flight IX2718, which departed from Bengaluru, needed to return to the airport on Sunday as a consequence of a technical drawback mid-air, ANI reported on Monday, citing the airline.
An Air India Categorical spokesperson acknowledged that the plane carried out a precautionary touchdown following a interval of circling to burn gas and lighten the plane. This manoeuvre was performed in accordance with normal security protocols.
