Asia-Pacific markets are set to principally open greater Monday as traders await particulars of talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, after the U.S.-Russia summit concluded with no ceasefire.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was set to begin the day greater with futures tied to the benchmark at 8,843, in contrast with the index’s Friday shut of 8,983.60.
Japan Nikkei 225 was set to open decrease, with the futures contract in Chicago at 43,545 whereas its counterpart in Osaka final traded at 43,370, towards the index’s final shut of 43,378.31.
