All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi dismissed former Pakistan Finance Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s comment over Indus Waters Treaty suspension as “childhood talks”.
Owaisi stated on Monday, “Chodiye na, bachpane ki baatein nahi karna, [leave it, we don’t have to do childhood talks]”. The AIMIM MP requested, “Does he even know what he’s saying?”
Owaisi’s assertion got here days after Bilawal Bhutto threatened India over the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, which allocates the Western Rivers (Indus, Jhelum, Chenab) to Pakistan and the Jap Rivers (Ravi, Beas, Sutlej) to India.
In response to Pakistan-based Geo TV, Bilawal Bhutto had stated final week, “…the Indus River is ours and can stay ours; both our water will move from this Indus or your blood.”
Bhutto drew sturdy criticism from Indian politicians.
Earlier on April 27, BJP chief Dilip Ghosh lashed out at Bhutto over his “both water or blood will move” comment and stated his assertion would not make a lot of a distinction because the neighbouring nation was ordinary in making “futile statements.”
“Blood is already flowing in Pakistan. Al-Qaeda is thrashing them from one aspect and Afghanistan from the opposite… We’ve got already proven them what we will do. He’s nonetheless a toddler like he was earlier. It’s Pakistan’s previous behavior to make such futile statements,” Ghosh was quoted by information company ANI as saying.
In the meantime, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri urged Bhutto to “get his psychological situation checked.”
Chatting with ANI, Puri warned that India’s endurance had worn skinny, saying, “Sufficient is sufficient…Inform him to get his psychological situation checked, what sort of statements he’s giving. Sufficient is sufficient…We’ll now not tolerate this. Now look ahead to a couple of days.”
