Cathay Pacific on Thursday mentioned it would improve the frequency of its flights on the Chennai-Hong Kong route beginning March 2. The Hong Kong-headquartered airline additionally introduced the introduction of premium financial system class seats on these flights.
From January 2 to March 1, 2025, flights on the Chennai-Hong Kong route will run 4 instances weekly, and will likely be elevated to 5 from March 2 to March 30 to satisfy the rising demand and improve connectivity, Cathay Pacific mentioned.
At current, the airline operates 35 flights per week to and from 4 Indian cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
These are 14 flights per week from Delhi, 10 from Mumbai, seven from Bengaluru, and 4 per week from Chennai.
The airline mentioned it would function its wide-body Airbus A350-900 plane, that includes enterprise, premium financial system, and financial system cabins, to cater to numerous traveller preferences.
