The BJP-led Delhi authorities introduced its maiden Funds on 25 March, asserting the rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) within the capital. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta confirmed an allocation of Rs 2,144 crore for the scheme, fulfilling a key electoral promise.
“We had dedicated to implementing Ayushman Bharat in Delhi,” Gupta acknowledged whereas presenting the Funds. The scheme, which supplies Rs 5 lakh medical insurance protection below the central initiative, will obtain an extra Rs 5 lakh top-up from the Delhi authorities.
