LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers introduced Thursday they blocked federal immigration brokers from getting into their stadium as dozens of anti-ICE protesters gathered exterior the sports activities venue.
On social media, the MLB staff stated that federal brokers working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrived on the stadium and “requested permission to entry the parking tons.”
“They have been denied entry to the grounds by the group,” the Dodgers stated, including that their recreation in opposition to the Padres will go on on the stadium as scheduled.
Demonstrators standing exterior the stadium’s gates have been seen holding indicators and chanting “ICE out of L.A.” and “ICE go house” as a number of darkish SUV automobiles stood on the other facet of the street. A few of the federal brokers seemed to be sporting Homeland Safety uniforms.
