Medicaid reimbursement portals have been down Tuesday in each U.S. state on the heels of a funding freeze ordered by the Trump administration of federal grants and loans, Sen. Ron Wyden mentioned.
“My employees has confirmed stories that Medicaid portals are down in all 50 states following final night time’s federal funding freeze,” the Oregon Democrat Wyden wrote in a put up on the social media website X.
“It is a blatant try to tear away medical insurance from hundreds of thousands of Individuals in a single day and can get individuals killed,” he wrote.
Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., individually mentioned, “Connectict’s Medicaid cost system has been turned off.”
“Medical doctors and hospitals can’t receives a commission,” Murphy wrote in a tweet. “Discussions ongoing about whether or not providers can proceed.”
Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, tweeted, “It is a Trump shutdown, besides this time it is illegal.”
White Home spokesperson Karoline Leavitt in a tweet wrote, “The White Home is conscious of the Medicaid web site portal outage.”

Murphy fired again at Leavitt in a tweet, writing, “72 MILLION individuals depend on this medical insurance and it’s important to get again to us?!? Are you f****** kidding me?”
