Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday, grieved the tragic lack of Zubeen Garg, stating that he was “shocked by the sudden demise” of the long-lasting Assamese singer.
“Shocked by the sudden demise of common singer Zubeen Garg. He shall be remembered for his wealthy contribution to music. His renditions had been highly regarded amongst individuals throughout all walks of life. Condolences to his household and admirers. Om Shanti,” PM Modi posted on X.
Zubeen Garg loss of life
Zubeen tragically died in a scuba diving accident in Singapore after reportedly falling into the ocean on Friday, Although he was shortly rescued and brought to a hospital, docs had been unable to save lots of him.
Garg is survived by his spouse.
The singer had gone to Singapore to take part within the three-day North East Pageant.
Assam CM condoles Zubeen Garg’s loss of life
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacted to the tragic loss of life of the singer, saying Assam misplaced “one in all its favorite sons”.
Himanta Biswa Sarma referred to Zubeen Garg as “Assam’s favorite rockstar”, stating: “Right this moment Assam misplaced one in all its favorite sons. I’m in a lack of phrases to explain what Zubeen meant for Assam. He has gone too early, this was not an age to go”.
Former Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora and Assam’s Cupboard Minister Ashok Singhal additionally expressed shock on the loss of life of Zubeen Garg.
