Pope Francis, the primary Latin American chief of the Roman Catholic Church, has died, the Vatican stated in a video assertion on Monday. Pope Francis was 88 years previous and handed away on Monday, at 1:35 am EST.
In a video assertion on Vatican’s TV channel, Cardinal Kevin Farrell introduced: “Pricey brothers and sisters, it’s with profound disappointment I need to announce the dying of our Holy Father Francis.”
“At 7:35 this morning the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the home of the Father.”
Pope Francis had suffered from varied illnesses in his 12 12 months papacy.
