Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Okay Stalin has introduced a bonus and ex-gratia for two.75 lakh staff of state public sector undertakings and statutory boards for the 2023-24 fiscal.
Accordingly, all eligible employees of revenue making PSUs underneath group C and D will probably be paid a minimal bonus of Rs 8,400 and a most of Rs 16,800, amounting to eight.33 per cent bonus and an ex-gratia of 11.67 per cent, an official launch right here stated.
The workers of the PSUs missing allowable surplus will probably be paid a bonus of 8.33 per cent and an ex-gratia of 1.67 per cent.
“The Tamil Nadu chief minister on October 10 ordered cost of bonus and ex-gratia to a complete of two,75,670 employees of state PSUs forward of the festive (Diwali) season,” the discharge stated, and added that the transfer would entail the federal government an expenditure of Rs 369.65 crore.
The employees and staff of TANGEDCO, state transport undertakings, Tamil Nadu Civil Provides Company, and Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation will probably be paid 20 per cent bonus and ex-gratia whereas the workers of group C and D in Tamil Nadu Housing Board and Chennai Metropolitan Water Provide and Drainage Board will obtain 10 per cent bonus and ex-gratia, the discharge stated.
Tamil Nadu Water Provide and Drainage Board staff will probably be paid a bonus at 8.33 per cent and the Civil Provides Company employees will probably be paid an ex-gratia of Rs 3,000.
“The chief minister has prolonged the gesture to encourage and encourage employees and staff in PSUs acknowledging their function in uplifting the nation and contributing to financial progress,” the discharge said.
A separate order will probably be issued on bonus and ex-gratia for the workers of cooperative establishments and different organisations, the discharge added.
