Dutch startup TracXon secured €4.75 million in seed funding to industrialise its hybrid printed electronics (HPE) expertise, positioning itself as a challenger to conventional printed circuit boards (PCBs). The corporate goals to ship versatile, recyclable, and eco-friendly options to PCB manufacturing.
Make investments-NL’s Deep Tech Fonds led the spherical with €2 million, joined by DeepTechXL and the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM).
Based in 2022 as a spin-off from analysis institute TNO, TracXon developed a roll-to-roll (R2R) course of that prints electronics straight onto recyclable movies, eliminating copper, solder, and poisonous chemical compounds utilized in typical PCB manufacturing.
