U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned on Wednesday that he doesn’t need U.S. Metal Corp X.N to go to Japan, suggesting he not helps Nippon Metal’s 5401.T bid for the American metal producer.
Shares of U.S. Metal fell 13% after the remark in buying and selling after the market closed.
“We do not need to see it go to Japan. We love Japan, however we, you recognize, U.S. Metal may be very particular firm. We do not need it to go to Japan or every other place, and we’re working with them,” Trump mentioned.
