The U.S. authorities has rescinded its export restrictions on chip-design software program to China, semiconductor software program firms Synopsys and Cadence introduced Thursday.
“Synopsys is working to revive entry to the not too long ago restricted merchandise in China,” the California-based software program maker stated in a assertion.
Its rival, Cadence, confirmed with CNBC that the U.S. Bureau of Business and Safety, which falls beneath the Division of Commerce, had reversed the export restrictions.
