US President Donald Trump on Wednesday introduced that Japan will likely be participating in high-level discussions with the US, specializing in tariffs, navy help prices, and points associated to commerce equity.
Taking to the social media platform, the president said, “Japan is coming in as we speak to barter Tariffs, the price of navy help, and ‘TRADE FAIRNESS.’
“I’ll attend the assembly, together with Treasury & Commerce Secretaries. Hopefully one thing will be labored out which is nice (GREAT!) for Japan and the USA,” he stated.
The assembly will embody key members of the U.S. administration, together with the Secretaries of the Treasury and Commerce, alongside the President himself. The aim of the discussions is to achieve agreements that strengthen the bilateral relationship and handle commerce imbalances.
