India and the European Union (EU) held a week-long spherical of discussions in New Delhi as a part of their ongoing efforts to finalise a complete and balanced commerce settlement, the Ministry of Commerce and Trade stated on Friday. A group of EU negotiators visited India for detailed deliberations on the proposed Free Commerce Settlement (FTA).
“A senior group of negotiators from the European Union (EU) visited New Delhi from November 3 to 7, 2025, for negotiations with Indian counterparts on the proposed India–EU Free Commerce Settlement (FTA),” the ministry stated in an announcement.
Broad scope of discussions
The week-long negotiations have been geared toward advancing talks in direction of a complete, balanced, and mutually helpful commerce deal.
