Akasa Air has diminished ticket costs for flights to Prayagraj by 30-45 per cent and elevated variety of flights to town, sources stated on Thursday within the wake of the federal government asking airways to keep up cheap fares.
Airfares for the flights to Prayagraj have been on the rise in view of the Maha Kumbh, which commenced on January 13 and can conclude on February 26.
On Wednesday, the civil aviation ministry requested airways to extend flights and keep cheap airfares for Prayagraj flights.
In a launch on Thursday, Akasa Air stated it has ramped up connectivity to Prayagraj with particular flights from Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. That is along with the every day direct companies from Mumbai and Delhi.
The sources stated Akasa Air has diminished ticket costs for Prayagraj flights by 30-45 per cent.
As per the airline’s web site, a ticket for Pune-Prayagraj flight on February 19 is little over Rs 28,000.
On January 25, Client Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi wrote a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Ok Ram Mohan Naidu about complaints concerning exorbitantly excessive airfares for Prayagraj flights.
