Ajay Seth, Secretary of the Division of Financial Affairs (DEA), has been assigned the extra cost of Secretary, Division of Income, following the appointment of Sanjay Malhotra as the brand new Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) Governor.
Seth, a 1987-batch IAS officer from the Karnataka cadre, will maintain twin obligations as Financial Affairs and Income Secretary till a everlasting substitute is appointed. This determination was made by the Appointment Committee of the Cupboard, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
