Amid the 26/11 Mumbai terror assault accused Tahawwur Rana formally arrested by the Nationwide Investigation Company after he was extradited from the US on Thursday, Pakistan has acknowledged that it has nothing to do with Rana, reported PTI.
Based on the report, Pakistan even talked about that Rana is a Canadian nationwide and has not renewed his Pakistani paperwork for over 20 years.
Whereas responding to a query throughout his weekly press briefing in Islamabad, Overseas Workplace spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated, as quoted by PTI, “He’s a Canadian nationwide and as per our report he has not renewed his Pakistani paperwork for over 20 years.”
Rana, born in Pakistan in 1961, served within the Pakistan Military Medical Corps, earlier than migrating within the Nineteen Nineties to Canada, the place he was given citizenship.
