Police have booked not less than 60 people for staging a protest exterior the Jama Masjid in Agra after authorities recovered animal flesh from mosque premises, cops stated on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday after prayers, when demonstrators took to the streets exterior the mosque and demanded strict motion in opposition to a person who allegedly positioned animal flesh within the premises of the Jama Masjid.
“A case has been registered in opposition to the person who positioned the piece of meat contained in the mosque. Moreover, those that created disturbance exterior the Jama Masjid have been booked.
