A former instructor at a top-performing constitution college in US’ Michigan has been charged with third-degree legal sexual conduct following allegations of a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old scholar. Jocelyn Sanroman, 26, who taught at Oakside Prep Academy in Waterford Township, reportedly admitted the connection to a colleague in 2023. The colleague then alerted the authorities, based on Click on On Detroit.
Prosecutors stated Sanroman abused her place of belief and authority by partaking within the unlawful relationship. “This defendant is accused of utilizing her place of authority to take advantage of a minor sufferer. “As a former instructor myself, I applaud the instructor who contacted police about this example, defending different college students from additional exploitation,” she added.
