Russian President Vladimir Putin has come ahead in help of President Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize. This follows the Nobel committee’s resolution to award the peace prize to María Corina Machado, a Venezuelan opposition chief.
Putin voiced his disappointment with the Nobel committee throughout a go to to Tajikistan on Friday. He criticized the committee for not recognizing the American chief’s peace efforts.
In keeping with a report by Related Press, the Russian President questioned the committee’s credibility, stating that it’s “credibility has largely been misplaced.” He criticized the committee for awarding the prize to people who, in accordance with him, haven’t considerably contributed to peace.
“There’ve been instances when the Nobel committee awarded the prize to individuals who’ve performed nothing for peace. That is broken the prize’s status,” Putin mentioned.

Regardless of going through accusations of warfare crimes by the Worldwide Prison Courtroom and an ongoing warfare in Ukraine, Putin praised Trump’s efforts to resolve long-standing crises.
He identified Trump’s current announcement of the primary section of a peace deal between Israel and Hamas as proof of his peacemaking talents.
