Samsung will make investments a further Rs 1,000 crore in its Sriperumbudur plant close to Chennai, creating 100 new jobs, in accordance with Tamil Nadu’s Industries Minister.
The manufacturing facility manufactures TVs, fridges, and washing machines, contributing considerably to Samsung’s India income.

The State leads manufacturing with 31,517 operational factories and a rising IT and GCC sector, with Chennai alone including 125 new GCCs since 2019 and 94,121 new jobs.
