Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday stated it has secured 30,179 bookings for its two new electrical fashions — XEV 9e and BE 6. The Mumbai-based auto main claimed the reserving quantity interprets to a worth of Rs 8,472 crore (at ex-showroom worth).
The corporate commenced bookings for the entire lineup of XEV 9e and BE 6 on Friday.
“Mahindra Electrical Origin SUVs create a brand new document in EV class by clocking 30,179 Bookings on Day 1 with reserving worth of Rs 8,472 crore (at ex-showroom worth),” Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra stated in a tweet.
The cut up between the XEV 9e and BE 6 is 56 per cent and 44 per cent respectively, the corporate stated.
The highest-end Pack Three, that includes a 79 kWh battery, accounted for 73 per cent of the overall bookings throughout each manufacturers, it added.
The 2 fashions are priced between Rs 18.9 lakh and Rs 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Electrical passenger automobile gross sales in India stood at round 1 lakh models final 12 months.
