On January 23, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Elon Musk towards claims that he gave a “Nazi salute”.
“Elon Musk is being falsely smeared. Elon is a good buddy of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7 bloodbath wherein Hamas terrorists dedicated the worst atrocity towards the Jewish folks because the Holocaust,” Netanyahu wrote on X.
“He has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s proper to defend itself towards genocidal terrorists and regimes who search to annihilate the one and solely Jewish state. I thank him for this,” the Israel PM added.
Protest on Reddit
In the meantime, over 100 Reddit communities have banned customers from sharing hyperlinks to X in protest towards Elon Musk’s controversial hand gesture, based on the BBC.
Many Reddit customers have mentioned that they’re unconvinced by Elon Musk’s defence. They’ve referred to as his actions “hateful”.
