Bangladesh’s interim House Affairs Adviser, Lt Gen (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, introduced plans to evaluation “unequal agreements” made with India throughout Sheikh Hasina’s tenure.
He accused Indian nationals close to the border of producing and smuggling medicine like Phensedyl into Bangladesh, allegedly underneath the guise of manufacturing drugs.
Chowdhury confused that any exercise inside 150 yards of the border, together with constructing mosques or temples, requires mutual consent.
The upcoming convention will concentrate on curbing border killings, abductions of Bangladeshi residents, unlawful actions by India’s Border Safety Drive (BSF), and addressing drug smuggling, unlawful crossings, and arms trafficking.
