Pune: The Lonavala Municipal Council has introduced a two-day vacation for all faculties on Wednesday, August 20 and Thursday, August 21, following heavy rains within the area.
In line with a report by Pune Pulse, Lonavla Municipal Company’s order applies to all major, secondary, and better secondary faculties throughout each administration and medium of instruction throughout the council limits.
Officers stated the step was taken as a precautionary measure to make sure pupil security, contemplating the continual heavy rains in Lonavala and surrounding areas.
