Two ladies had been apprehended by police after eggs had been thrown at Pakistan’s jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister in Punjab province on Friday. PTI described the incident as “shameful” and alleged that police had assisted the ladies, who they declare had been planted for political motives, to flee by automotive.
