Safety forces have killed two dreaded leaders of the Naxal renegade outfit, Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad, Pappu Lohara, who was carrying a reward of ₹10 lakh on his head, and Prabhat Ganjhu, who was carrying a reward of ₹5 lakh in Jharkhand’s Latehar district this morning, PTI reported.
Each have been leaders of the renegade Naxalite outfit Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad, sources instructed PTI.
PTI reported citing DIG Palamu, “Two Maoists, together with splinter group chief carrying ₹10 lakh bounty, killed in Jharkhand.”
One other dreaded member of the group, who was injured, has been arrested and an INSAS rifle has been recovered from him, the sources instructed PTI.
The operation remains to be underway.
