President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday has accepted 58 Talked about-in-Despatches for Armed Forces personnel, together with 4 posthumous recognitions.
These commendations acknowledge acts of outstanding service and valour in numerous operations carried out by the Indian Armed Forces.
Among the many recipients, 55 are from the Indian Military as follows:
- Operation Rakshak: 14 personnel, together with 4 posthumous.
- Operation Snow Leopard: Eight personnel.
- Operation Hifazat: Six personnel.
- Operation Sahayta: Two personnel.
- Operation Rhino: One personnel.
- Operation Meghdoot: One personnel.
- Operation Gurihajan: Two personnel.
- Operation Mulkhyama: One personnel.
- Operation Reconnaissance: One personnel.
- Operation Zokhawthar: One personnel.
- Operation Falcon: One personnel.
- Operation CAS Evacuation: 4 personnel.
- IS Obligation: One personnel.
- Miscellaneous Operations: Twelve personnel.
Moreover, three personnel from the Indian Air Power have been acknowledged for his or her contributions to Operation Sankalp.
