The inventory market plunged on Monday, with the Sensex tumbling 850 factors and the Nifty slipping under 22,550 as heavy sell-offs hit IT, metallic, and telecom shares.
The Nifty IT index dropped 2 per cent, whereas BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices slid 1 per cent every.
Most sectors had been within the purple, besides auto, pharma, and FMCG. M&M, HDFC Financial institution, ICICI Financial institution, Infosys, and Mazagon Dock had been essentially the most lively shares on the NSE.
