As of October 2024, Kavach has been deployed over 1,548 route kilometers (Rkm) throughout South Central Railway and North Central Railway. Additional work is underway for an extra 3,000 Rkm on high-priority routes like Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah. Bids have additionally been invited for about 15,000 Rkm of track-side Kavach deployment, with a venture finalized to equip 10,000 locomotives with this know-how.
