NEW DELHI: A number of shares plunged in extra of 5 per cent in Mumbai buying and selling on Friday at the same time as fairness benchmark BSE Sensex traded 831.99 factors down at 75463.37 amid brisk promoting in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Pearl World(down 19.37 per cent), Garware Poly(down 16.73 per cent), Everlon Synth(down 12.12 per cent), Pokarna Ltd(down 10.61 per cent) and Unishire City Infra(down 10.28 per cent) have been among the many shares that plunged over 5 per cent through the session.
Within the Nifty pack, 9 shares traded within the inexperienced, whereas 41 shares traded within the pink.
The Nifty index was buying and selling 319.35 factors down at 22930.75.
On the BSE, Cadila Healthcare, Sona BLW Precision, Rajratan World, Dr. Reddys and KEI Industries hit their recent 52-week lows, whereas Kaveri Seed Co., Gothi Plascon, Anka India, RSC Intnl and Panther Industrial Merchandise Ltd. touched their recent 52-week highs.
